We will also discuss how to choose the appropriate yarn and hook for a project as well as where you can take your crafting after you master these basic techniques.
There’s a lot to learn, and we’re excited to accompany your beginning in the wonderful craft of crochet!
Materials are included!
- 50g ball of worsted weight wool in your choice of colour
- 5.5mm crochet hook
About David (they/them)
I’ve been crocheting for a little over a decade now, initially I fell in love with making amigurumi (crochet figures), both following patterns and creating my own designs. In the last few years my focus has shifted to mostly exploring granny square and garment projects.
I love the process of crochet as much (if not more) than the finished project; I’m often unafraid and even eager to restart a project if it means improving my craft or skill. My favourite aspect of fibre arts is community, getting to share with others and experiencing the joy of learning something new or a different variation of practice.
