Bulky / Chunky yarn, falls into the category 5 yarn weight, heavier than worsted yarn and perfect for chunky blankets, warm hats, mitts and scarves. Super chunky is slightly thicker. 

The recommended gauge is usually achieved with a 5.5–8 mm knitting needle or crochet hook, and 8mm+ for super bulky, but we recommend doing a test swatch.
