Once again, our favourite queer Canadian designer Disyarning has knocked it out of the park with a gorgeous new design! The Chrysalis Shawl is inspired by the armour on the cover of Xiran Jay Zhao’s incredible debut novel, Iron Widow. This shawl features mosaic knitting and faux cables (created by slip stitches and simple increases/decreases), which is sure to keep you as entertained as the book it’s based on.

To celebrate this new pattern, we’re partnering with our favorite queer Canadian dyer, Matchbox Yarns, to put together kits for the shawl. Each kit comes with two 115g of custom-dyed fingering weight skeins, and one 25g mini in the contrast colour. Please note: the white option is a lower price because it is undyed. The pattern is included in the kit.
