In this class you will learn how to use a drop spindle to spin starting with woolly fibre and ending with a completed, ready to use yarn. You will learn how to spin a single ply yarn, how to spin a 2-ply yarn using the Andean Plying method, and how to chain ply for a 3-ply yarn over three classes. We will discuss spinning basics as well as different types of yarn, fibres, processing tools, and preparations and how these affect the finished yarn. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eDrop spindles must be brought by students or purchased in store.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e50g of fibre provided in two different colours.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\"\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePlease note that \u003cstrong\u003eclasses will only proceed if we have a minimum of two attendees\u003c\/strong\u003e.
